Sunday Morning @ ShoreLeave Kevin & The water bottle

On Sunday my husband Chris came to the con with us, Jan wanted to stay outside for a bit before she went inside for the day and Sue stayed outside with her. We(Chris and I) ran into Hermie on the way down, she was on her way up to get some fresh air and take a break. When we got to Kevin he was signing an autograph, Chris went to sit down and I wheeled my way over to Kevin. To the side of the table and asked, "I need to borrow a sharpie please, for a minute, but it's for you anyway." Kevin smiled and nodded yes, I picked up a black sharpie, but there was no room to sit the disc I needed to write on down. So I moved one of the water bottles, well... I didn't see the little red piece of candy sitting behind the water bottles, and when I set the water bottle down it tipped toward Kevin and fell. Kevin smiled up at me and said, "It's a good thing that wasn't open." I stood the water bottle back up and replied, "Well... You know we all love you with the wet hair look, but that wouldn't have wet your hair." Which of course made him laugh and shake his head. I finished writing on the disc, and put the sharpie back on the table with the others. Then I handed him the disc, with the video I made him on it. I told him once he watched it and let me know what he thinks of it, then I would put it up on Youtube him for the rest of you to see. So I'm waiting to hear from him about it. But since he's really busy right now it may take a little while.
Anyway that was the cute little story about the piece of candy on the table by Kevin, and how if the water bottle had been open, he would've ended up with a very wet lap.  LOL

Three of our friends at ShoreLeave... Kind of LOL

This is a picture of Sue, Jan and Sandy.  We all know Jan doesn't want her face shown online, but I really wanted to put this picture up, so I sent it to her and she made the changes. Sandy is holding my picture with Kevin along with hers. Not much more to say about this picture, except the Jan made the changes. I hope you all get a laugh from the changes she made.

Kevin Sorbo bringing back some Kull memories

A lady came by with two replica axes, one though small and gold, looks similar to the one Kevin used as Kull. I asked her if I could take a picture of Kevin holding it and she agreed. I had to wait a few minutes while Kevin signed autographs and talk to people.  Then he held it up for us, while I was getting my camera ready, Jan asked from behind me, "What you're not going to hold it like Kull?" Kevin smiled and said, "No This things way too small, it'd have to be much bigger." We all laughed and the woman that the Axe belonged to said, "Yeah it's more like from when you were six or seven." Kevin laughed and nodded his head yes. So he held it as you see in the picture with a big smile, then handed it back to me and I gave it back to the lady and thanked her for letting us take the picture, while Kevin went back to signing autographs.

The Story Of Ali's Hug to Kevin Sorbo!

ShoreLeave 32 Con... I asked Kevin to come over to me, I had one more hug to give him before the day was over. He walked over to me gave me a hug, and I told him it was a hug from Aliykat. Then I said, "You may know her as the one who votes for you every 20 minutes." He smiled and said, "She is really a devoted voter." I told him, "Yes I know, I don't know how she does it. One day last week I had to be on the computer all day, so she sent me an e-mail in the morning, asking me to vote for you all day long while she was at work, because you were at#18 and I had to keep you in that spot. When she got home she sent me a message and asked, had I voted all day. I told her yes and I had no idea how she does it every day, every 20 minutes, it's exhausting. To which she laughed." He laughed and said, "I know she votes all the time." He starts to walk away, then turns back to me, holds his hand up as if to say don't get me wrong and said, "That's not a bad thing." Then he walked back to the autograph table, turned smiled at me and said, "Keep voting." I smiled and told him, "of course... Anything for you Kevin."
