Soul Surfer gets recognized with an ESPY Award Nomination

"Soul Surfer," which features Kevin as Holt Blanchard, was nominated for an ESPY Award for Best Sports Movie of the year.

The faith-based biopic of pro surfer Bethany Hamilton will be up against the following films:

"The Fighter," a drama about former boxing champion "Irish" Mickey Ward
"Secretariat," about the 1978 winner of Thoroughbred horse racing's Triple Crown
"Win Win," about a lawyer/volunteer high school wrestling coach dealing with the grandson (a promising wrestler) of a client he'd previously swindled
