Wonderful article. Timely, one might say. Please read the words carefully and take to heart. Words from Martin Luther King spoken 50 years ago ring so true today.

Kevin Sorbo Posts, "Okay, people. Let it go. I made a post in haste and worded it incorrectly."

Okay, people. Let it go. I made a post in haste and worded it incorrectly. I never said the protestors were animals, I said the looters were, and I stand by that. If looting, vandalizing, fighting and causing more pain to those who don't deserve it is something you admire and encourage and feel is "right", then we are indeed lost as a society. Protesting is a good thing. It is our right. But, when well over 95% of those arrested for looting, and vandalizing are NOT from Ferguson....what does that tell you? Those thugs are not there to support what you are protesting. What amazes me is how perfect you all are. That you have never, ever made a mistake in how you have said something about anything to anyone. I can only pray that one day I am as perfect as you all are. But as many have told me, haters hate. That is what they do. Can't change them. By the way, when I said your President I meant to say "your" President, but I realize that was poorly worded and not explained as to why I said that. When President Obama was elected, many African Americans, including friends of mine, said on TV, "We finally have "our" President over and over again. When Bush was in office, I heard from many African Americans saying Bush was not their President. Hopefully that explains the poorly worded sarcasm in my stupid post. TMZ and Huffington Post totally misrepresented what I said and what I meant. Then again, that is there job...to create chaos. To make headlines that grab your attention. I challenge you to find anywhere in my life through all the years I have been on movie or TV sets where anyone I have worked with claims that they have heard remarks by me that make me a racist. Anytime, anywhere in my past. I challenge you to find that. You can say 9 wonderful things about someone and then one negative and what will that person dwell on...the one negative. The PC world we have created is a sad and dangerous one. No matter what one says today can be twisted, turned and bent into something that will offend someone. it's ridiculous. A Black cop kills a White guy in Salt Lake last week. Any of you hear about that? Any rioting going on in Salt Lake. 2000 African Americans killed in Chicago since 2009. Where is the media coverage on that? Where is the uproar? Christians are being beheaded in Nigeria, Egypt, and Iraq just for being Christian. No media on that. Guess that kind of murder is "okay". Wow. Selective anger is interesting to me. The media fuels the anger and hate. It keeps them in the spotlight. Dirty Laundry is a great song from Don Henley. You should listen to the words of that song. So, again, I am sorry for the way I worded my post last week. I know this won't stop many of you for going after me. But a few of you may listen. As I said before....haters hate.
  • Gina Matheis We stand by you Kevin and I for one understood your original post... We Love and Support you Kevin

There are Many, Many positive comments from Kevin's fans to this post on his Official Facebook Page go to: https://www.facebook.com/KevinSorbo/posts/812929388747129?notif_t=notify_me  to read more

Okay....I stand humiliated and humbled. My most sincere apologies for my post on the events in Ferguson. I posted out of frustration and anger over the violence and looting. My words were never meant to hurt the African-American community. My use of the word "losers' was directed at those doing the looting and vandalising and violence toward others. Anyone who does that is a loser in my book. So I will not apologise to those who are looting stores and vandalising there own community. I am very sorry for the police shooting. To answer violence with violence is not the answer here. Real leaders need to emerge out of that community to deal with the problems with the excessive use of police force. I agree with you that the police action has only added to the reaction of the residents of Ferguson. Yes. I am an idiot and do hold myself accountable for the way my post came off.
    • Jan Feighner Many of you make me sick. I can't even begin to wade through most of drivel posted here. If you are a detractor then you didn't understand his comment and criticized him based on what you thought he meant. If you wish to leave his page, please do so without vulgarity... the rest of us will not miss you or your filth. If you don't know who he is, why comment at all? The man apologized for a comment borne out of frustration. When is Obama going to apologize for vacationing while an American citizen was beheaded by ISIS, as well as his many other indiscretions? In other words... shouldn't you be focused on more important things than Kevin's seemingly faux pas?
