Storyline
After mafia capo, Don Rosario Ferro's son Chris is brutally murdered,
the Ferros descend into a downward spiral. Anna Ferro, Chris' younger
sister, becomes almost completely subservient to her father while Steve
Bondi, Anna's first cousin, the shy and artistic type, fights his own
battle with alcoholism and even entertains suicidal thoughts. In the
meantime, Robert Carta, a Ferro soldier who was like a brother to Chris,
climbs higher in the Ferro ranks by securing a very profitable,
high-tech heist. However, Robert's greed knows no bounds as he pits the
family against their rivals, the Beve'aquas and the ruthless Rivera
Colombian drug cartel. Steve finally overcomes his personal demons, and
confesses to Anna that he is actually adopted. The two become lovers,
and plan their escape, but as war is waged on all fronts around them,
the question remains; can Steve and Anna's love survive this lethal
