LBN-NOTICED: Mara Marini is a good girl who plays bad girls. In NBC’s Parks and Recreation this blonde bombshell plays adult-film star Brandy Maxxxx. In the award-winning indie comedy, Lady Magdalene’s, Mara played opposite Nichelle Nichols as Nurse Gretchen, an OR nurse-turned-brothel-prostitute who helps federal agents track down Osama bin Laden’s replacement. And in the new futuristic political thriller, Alongside Night, Mara plays a streetwalker with pictures of anarchist Emma Goldman on her wall — and an animated tattoo of a “Dont Tread on Me” rattlesnake writhing around her skin — who offers her bed to a teenage boy running from federal agents. Commenting on these two film roles Mara writes, “This was my second time being directed by J Neil Schulman and I had a wonderful time. The cast and crew were amazing and it was a fantastic experience! “
