Hercules Marathon on The Hub New Years Ever

OK, so The Hub Network will air a fantastic "Hercules" marathon on New Year's Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, beginning at 8 pm. Guess what I'll be watching?! In honor of New Year's Eve and this cool marathon, I think we need a drinking game. How about if we drink the beverage of our choices whenever Herc kisses some babe, yells "Nooo!" or has a run-in with Hera?

My prayers are out to those families that lost loved ones today at the elementary school in CT. Another senseless tragedy. These low lifes make me sick to my stomach. I cannot imagine what goes on in their minds to commit such a cowardly act then commit suicide after. The anger in me right now is uncontainable.

    He turned west on to Fifty-ninth Street—past Burger King, past Madison Avenue, past the plywood and soaped plate glass at General Motors Plaza—and continued down Fifth Avenue.

In a new sketch from next Wednesday’s episode of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, which you can watch exclusively here, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele join forces with ex-Hercules star Kevin Sorbo to ward off a frightening zombie apocalypse. The scene riffs off of classic zombie works like Shaun of the Dead, The Walking Dead, and Night of the Living Dead – basically anything with the word “dead” in it — but Key and Peele quickly discover that these zombies have unusually discriminating tastes.

My fathers funeral was yesterday here in Henderson, Nevada. All five of his children stood up to talk and recant their memories of Dad. His favorite church songs were sang by all and the whole day was amazing, wonderful, funny, sad and ultimately, exhausting. Just when you think you can't cry anymore........

He was a great guy, my Dad. It was so nice to hear my 3 brothers and my sister tell their stories to refresh dusty memories. Dad lived a fantastic life. He will be missed.

I went out and walked nine holes at my golf course yesterday morning so I could be with my Dad. He introduced me to crazy game of golf when I was a wee lad of 10 years, and I was the lucky one to play so many rounds with him these last 15 years. It was a beautiful morning and without one practice swing, my first drive split the fairway at 270 yards. But, before I hit, I said, "This one is for yo
u, Dad." It was not a long walk spoiled. We had a good chat and a lovely time marching down memory lane. I saw no one on the course. Just me and my father walking beside me.

I wanted to share the moments I had in the early morning hours of October 18. I couldn't sleep and all of a sudden, Iggy barked. One little bark. She was looking over at my side of the bed. She did this four more times. Just one bark about 5 minutes apart. After the second bark I started thinking of Dad and I "felt" a presence in the room. After each bark I felt the presence again and I knew it was Dad and I just stared at where I thought I could see him. Iggy jumped off the bed and I assumed she wanted to go outside for a pee, but she just stared at the door and wouldn't budge. I had a feeling something was wrong. One hour later, my brother Scott who was with my Mom visiting Dad called to tell me Dad had passed away at 4:45am. I now know that my Dad had come to visit me to say goodbye. He is at a far better place now and feeling no pain. That comforting thought does little to quell the pain I feel. He suffered horribly these last 4 months and that I don't understand and it makes me angry God would let him go through that. He had gone in for a hip replacement. He got a staph infection and spent his next 3 plus months having one part of his body shut down after another. All he could do was lie in that hospital bed. He had no strength do even turn on his side. It was horrific to see him go through this. He lost the ability to speak over 2 months ago and I could see the fear and frustration on his face. My last visit he seemed alert and even smiled. I held his hand and put my hand on his head and told him I loved him. Then I walked out of his room knowing that would be the last time I would see him in this life. I will miss him. He loved a good laugh. He loved to sing and I love knowing that now he can sing again. He was a good man. A good husband. A good father.

SHORT SYNOPSIS
Fresh from his residency program, Dr. David Gibson takes off for a small town in Arizona to spend a few relaxing weeks with his fiancée, Samantha Grey. But shortly after he arrives, he is pulled into a growing series of events resulting from mysterious illnesses, and even deaths, of the
fine citizens of this quaint town.

David discovers a small amount of a green gooey substance caught in the hair of a young child… her reaction to the effects of the substance brings her close to the brink of death. Their search catches the attention of a secret society, whose members will do anything to keep their agendas hidden and their purposes on track.
